The March numbers are in and we're liking what we see. With an influx of new listings we've been keeping our eyes on the pending sale numbers, as those show us how the buyers are or are not responding to the new housing inventory. Good news...the buyers are out there! In fact, 5.8% more homes pended last month compared to the same month in the previous year.
Spring 2016-18 were some of the busiest recent times for Seattle real estate. The market corrected and slowed down a bit around August 2018, which left us wondering if this Spring we'd see the typical increase in pendings and inventory. We're happy to report that with the help of low interest rates, buyers are out shopping and keeping the reputation of the Spring Busy Season alive.
